Placing an Order

On the web: Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at www.mangostreetbaby.com. It is as easy as clicking the “Add to Cart” button from any product page on the web site and then just follow the instructions. All credit card orders are processed on a secure server. Any credit card or other personal information you provide us is protected by encryption using Secure Socket Layer Protocol (SSL).

On the phone: Telephone orders can be placed 7 days a week by calling 901-755-8055. Our Design and Gift Consultants are here to provide personalized assistance to our customers between 10am and 6pm (CST), Monday through Saturday.

Please note that at this time, we can only ship items within the 48 contiguous states.

Paying for your Order

We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, Money Orders, Personal Checks, and Mango Street Baby Gift Certificates. We apologize for any inconvenience but at this time we do not accept COD’s.

Orders shipped to a Tennessee address will be charged the required 9.25% sales tax. No sales tax will be collected on orders shipped outside of the state.

Shipping your Order

Methods:

Standard Delivery: Gift items, décor accessories and linens are usually shipped via ground services such as UPS and FedEx. Shipping & Handling charges are listed in the table below. In-stock items shipped via UPS or FedEx should arrive within 5 to 10 business days. If your UPS or FedEx item should arrive damaged, please retain all packaging materials and contact us immediately at 1-877-323-4191 within one week of delivery. Packages sent to P.O. boxes will be sent via the US Postal Service Priority Mail Delivery.

Rush Delivery: In-stock item rush delivery service is available via UPS, FedEx or Express Mail from the US Postal Service. Additional charges will apply. Orders must be received before 3:00PM (CST). Rush Delivery does not guarantee a shipping date, only the shipping method used to deliver your package. Weekend delivery is also available for an additional charge.

Furniture and Oversized Delivery: Oversized Items as defined by UPS and FedEx will incur an additional surcharge.

Standard: Some larger furniture items have a delivery surcharge that may apply in addition to the standard delivery charges. If an additional charge is required, it will be noted in parentheses next to the item’s price. There may also be additional charges due to your address and delivery location or any special circumstances of that location. Standard furniture shipments generally take 2 – 3 weeks from the time the order leaves the manufacturer. This time is in addition to the ship times indicated. Standard furniture shipping means that the boxed item will be placed directly inside your home, but will not be unpacked, assembled, or arranged.

Special Delivery: Almost like the stork himself delivered it. This service will unpack, place these furnishings in the room of your choice and discard the packing materials for you. Assembly may be extra. Availability of this service for a product will be noted in the product description. This special option is usually $99 extra per shipment.

When a freight company is used to deliver your item, the carrier will contact you to schedule a convenient delivery time. Deliveries are scheduled within a four-hour window, typically Monday through Friday standard business hours. Please note that the shippers are not We employees; they are independent contractors.

If for any unfortunate reason, a furniture piece may be damaged in transit, the following steps are recommended:

  • Please be present to receive, inspect and sign for your delivery. It is important to be as detailed and descriptive as possible on the packing slip before you sign for your items.  A signature implies acceptance; if you simply sign without inspecting the box or its contents, then you are accepting the shipment “as is.”  We will not be able to file a claim with the shipper on your behalf unless you note any damages with the carrier at the time of delivery.
  • For Standard Delivery, the carrier will bring the item directly in your front door only.  If the box appears to be in good condition, but you cannot inspect the shipment due to time constraints, please note “not inspected at delivery” on the shipping waybill.  However, if the box is damaged in any way, please note “box damaged, possible damage to piece, not inspected at delivery” on the waybill. Any damages must be reported to us within 5 days of receipt of the item.
  • For Special Delivery, the carrier will deliver the item to the designated room, unpack the item and discard the packing materials.  If there are any damages or missing pieces, please note this on the shipping waybill.  If the box/packaging are not available for your inspection, please note that as well.  We cannot be responsible for assisting you in the repair or replacement of the merchandise if you do not note the damage on the waybill. Any damages must be reported to us within 5 days of receipt of the item.

Returns

Custom Products: Custom-designed furniture, linens, accessories, gifts and made-to-order items require payment in full upon order, and cannot be returned or exchanged. These items will be notated as such in the product descriptions.

Non-custom: We strive to provide our Mango Babies with the most extraordinary service available. If you are not satisfied with your non-custom purchase for any reason, you may return it for store credit. Returned items must be unused, in their original condition and their original packaging.

To return an item, call or come by either store location within 10 business days of receipt of the item. If the it was shipped and is to be returned by shipment you must contact the store within 10 business days and we will issue you a Return Authorization Number (RAN), which is valid for 10 business days from issuance. Upon receipt of your approved return, we will either issue a store credit refund for the purchase price of your item(s) or ship the item you selected in exchange. Please note that we cannot refund shipping charges. Any shipping charges are the customer's responsibility. It is recommended that you send all returns via insured mail for protection against lost or damage.

Any item received after the 10 business day window, or without a RAN, and/or we suspect the item has been used, the merchandise will be shipped back to you at your expense. Also, any item returned that was shipped to you free of charge, will receive a store credit refund for the item’s purchase price minus the appropriate shipping costs as set forth in the shipping chart.

Sale Items: All sales on sale items, retiring items, and discounted items are final. No store credit or exchanges will be given.

If you need to cancel an order for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that an order can be cancelled. If your order is already in production or has shipped, please refer to our return policy for further steps.

Pricing, Avaibility & Errors:

Although we check the information on this website for accuracy; occasional errors and omissions occur and are subject to correction. If this should occur and affect a specific order, we will notify you regarding the details and the item it pertains too before processing the order.

Gift Certificates

A Mango Street Baby gift certificate is always a great choice. The recipient may use them towards any purchases, including custom orders. Our gift certificates are available in $25 increments. Gift certificates are non-refundable and must be used within one year of the issue date on the gift certificate.

Gift Packaging

We offer gift wrap for most of our items as a special touch for our Mango Babies. Please note it is not available on all items. Gifts will include a handwritten gift card enclosed for your use.
